My name is Veda Srikantan.

I am a high school senior from Orlando, Florida. A jazz trombonist, I have been a part of the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra jazz bands for the past six years. My passion for music and my experiences as a trombonist inspired me to create this organization. Girls Who Trombone aims to educate students and teachers about the gender gap in trombone and share resources.
